The People Behind Disaster Coffee

I'm a lucky guy who surrounded myself with great people. I also have a serious immunity to the lingering effects of failure. In 2019 my podcast network was struggling to find a sponsor so I created one and Disaster Coffee was born.

As a former volunteer firefighter, not only did I run on caffeine, but the idea of helping others is important to me. When I discovered Disaster Coffee, not only did I find the coffee enjoyable, but the fact a portion of all sales go to disaster relief within the United States made me want to support the company more. When the opportunity came to partner with James, I didn't hesitate.

Husband, father, combat vet, podcaster, author, all fueled by coffee. My life has always orbited around service to my family, my country, and my community, often sacrificing comfort and sleep in the name of helping others. In those moments when a little pick-me-up was needed, the coffee pot was my constant companion. An opportunity to join the Disaster Coffee team was a welcome chance to share that comfort and the mission statement with everyone else. Disasters happen, we don't have to face them alone.
